AMP Capital has provided SEK1.47bn (鈧151m) of mezzanine debt for a Swedish energy provider.
The loan facility is secured against a portfolio of 43 operational district heating assets owed by Sol酶r Bioenergi.
The portfolio has an installed power of 620MW and delivers more than 1TWh of heat and steam per annum to an extensive network of residential, municipal, and industrial customers.
District heating is a primary source of heat for Sweden, which has one of the coldest climates in Europe.
Emma Haight-Cheng, infrastructure debt partner and European head at AMP Capital, said: 鈥淪ol酶r Bioenergi is an established business with a highly experienced management team and a quality portfolio of infrastructure assets.鈥
AMP Capital is raising capital for its Infrastructure Debt Fund III. Its IDF I and IDF II raised $500m (鈧447m) and $1.1bn respectively.
