Join us for a dialogue on how One Health can help tackle complex global challenges and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Did you know that disruption of natural ecosystems has been linked to most emerging infectious diseases in humans? This striking fact illustrates why we need integrated approaches that connect human, animal, and environmental health.
Four speakers will give a broad insight into different aspects of health followed by an engaging panel discussion with partners from other fields and sectors.
The speakers are:
Sharon Hill (Associate professor, Department of Plant Protection Biology on ecology/epidemiology of malaria mosquitoes),
Michael Bertram (Assistant Professor, Department of Wildlife, Fish and Environmental Studies on ecological effects of pharmaceutics in the environment)
Marcus Hedblom (Professor, Landscape architecture Landscape management on human health and biodiversity)
Sofia Boqvist (Professor of Veterinary Public Health, Department of Animal Biosciences, Bacteriology, Virology, Food Safety and Veterinary Public Health on global food security and zoonotic risks).
