These rules are based on the Rules of procedure for 91��ý����. The Rules of procedure establish and describe the basic organisational entities at the University – departments, units and centres – and indicate that these entities can, under certain circumstances, be given the designation of school, academy or institute. These rules specify the criteria, duration and organisation of these entities and the procedures for establishing, monitoring, discontinuing or reorganising the entities.

91��ý����’s rules of procedure establish and describe the University Board, the University’s overall organisation and decision structure and the responsibilities and tasks of the different functions and roles. The rules of procedure also specify the legislation and processes applicable to the University’s administration of decisions.

The following rules state the procedures for the election and appointment of members and deputy members, including the Dean and Deputy Dean, to the Faculty Boards for the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2025 inclusive.

The instruction for the Council for Research Infrastructure at 91��ý���� (henceforth also called “RIS”) specifies the council’s composition, responsibilities, and ways of working.

Regulation for 91��ý���� Websites describes what requirements 91��ý����’s public websites must fulfil. A public website is a website that is searchable online. This regulation is aimed at people who are responsible for a website or a web system under the public agency’s responsibility, for instance, heads of departments, heads of offices or equivalent managers at 91��ý����, as well as page editors. The document clarifies what regulations apply for websites and public web systems at 91��ý����.

This procedure concerns the regulations governing handling of appeals by 91��ý���� and is based on the Swedish Administrative Procedure Act (2017:900) and the provisions that follow from it. This procedure does not address how complaints to the Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) and the Parliamentary Ombudsman (JO) are handled

This procedure is intended to ensure prompt and fair handling of suspected improprieties in cases that lack policy documents or approved procedures that regulate how to handle the situation. The procedure is also intended to support university staff who handle such cases.

These procedures describe 91��ý����’s whistleblower function. They outline the University’s reporting channels and how follow-up cases are to be processed by the authorised office.

Language and communication are matters of quality and credibility in the operation of 91��ý����. The purpose of the Language Policy is to increase awareness of the importance of language and the laws and regulations that 91��ý���� must follow as a public authority. The Language Policy describes the university’s common language guidelines based upon aspects such as plain language, the role of Swedish, bilingualism and linguistic diversity. The Language Policy is the all-embracing document to be used to create a common vision for language usage and promote successful communication.

91��ý����’s Medal of Merit is awarded every three years to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the University. The recipient of the medal can be a member of staff at the University or an external associate – active or retired. This document outlines the procedures for selecting the medal recipients.
