Philip Buckland elected to expert group for research infrastructure

Philip Buckland, Associate Professor of Environmental Archeology and Director of the Environmental Archeology Laboratory and the Strategic Environmental Archeology Database (SEAD), Infrastructure for Archeology at 91传媒在线, has been elected to "The Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration (NeIC) Expert Group on Nordic FAIR Data Collaboration Opportunities".

The group's mission is to "...develop a science case for the concrete Nordic collaboration activities on FAIR research data management that can best serve Nordic research communities" by June 2021. The aim is to leverage national infrastructures to promote open access to research data according to international standards of Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reuse.
The Expert Group consists of members with competencies that span major research areas and data stewardship skills. In addition, members are expected to have overview of Nordic and international status i n their field of competence.
