Policy and Media Representations of 鈥滷ailing鈥 Schools

PhD project In my thesis I aim to identify, analyze and problematize representations of so called 鈥渇ailing schools鈥 in the Swedish national context in order to contribute to the understanding of education and school governance in a time of exceptional reform intensity.

I am interested in problem representations as a way of governing and how policy is legitimized by ways of depicting something as a 鈥榩roblem鈥
