Deputy Head of department at the Department of Informatics, Umeå University. Recognised universtiy teacher with significant teaching experience, including executive education and pedagogical leadership positions. Member of the Swedish Center for Digital Innovation and connected to the SCDI AI for Business Lab. My reseach is broadly focussed on understanding how digitalization changes the conditions for organizational management and value creation. You can find my research in e.g. Information Systems Journal, Technology in Society, Industrial Managmenet and Data Systems, and Journal of Information Technology Theory and Application.
I have extensive teaching experience which at all levels of university education, including executive education. Current teaching assignments include courses with topics such as digital transformation, AI for Business, digital innovation, data centered value creation, innovation processes, management information systems, digital platforms & ecosystems, and quality in information systems. Since I started, I have supervised 80+ bachelors- and masters thesis as well as served as examinator for thesis courses on all levels. I have developed a large number of courses and participated in major program revision processes at the deptartment.
