My research is about developing and applying statistical methods to analyze large and complex data, with the goal of transforming data into information and knowledge. We conduct theoretical research, but also work with applications in, among other things, ambulance care, cancer diagnostics and the automotive industry. I am also the director of the Industrial Doctoral School for Research and Innovation at Umeå University.
