As regulatory requirements intensify, so does the need for finance and auditing professionals who understand both the theory and the practice of sustainability reporting.</p><p>This is a one-year master’s programme, offered jointly by Umeå School of Business Economics and Statistics with Hanken School of Economics. Students begin their studies on-site in Umeå during the first term, and continue in Vaasa during the second term, earning a double degree upon graduation.</p><p>The programme is taught entirely in English and combines science-based decision-making with real-world casework. Students will engage in experiential learning projects, tackling actual financial and non-financial reporting challenges faced by organizations today.
