Registration

The registration is now open! Limited seats are available, and registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please read the information below before completing the registration form. Note the separate registration link if you are traveling with accompanying family. The final deadline for registration will be January 7, 2026.

Accommodation

The conference hotel has 48 rooms available. All rooms have space for 2-6 person. Initially, we have allocated 25 single rooms and 23 rooms for sharing. If you are sharing room, you need to specify with whom you intend to share the room.

You can check in at the earliest 15:00 March 8 and check out at the latest 11:00 March 12. The hotel has a wellness centre, spa & pool. There are also skiing opportunities close to the hotel.

Conference presentations

The participants are welcome to present contributed talks related to the theme of the conference, and posters related to all statistical topics. Please provide your preferable choice (oral/poster) along with a short abstract (pdf format, maximum 500 words). You will be notified about the presentation format within a few weeks after registration has closed.

Registration form

The links below takes you to the registration form. Please note the different link options. The first page of the registration form contains all choices that affect your total cost. On the second page you will need to give more information related to your choices. Be prepared to provide the following information during registration:

  • Accommodation type (single room or shared). If you are sharing room, you need to specify with whom you are sharing.
  • If you want to travel by chartered bus.
  • An abstract if you want to present at the conference.
  • Method of payment, see details below.

A confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address shortly after completing the registration process. If you are travelling with accompanying persons, payment for them is being handled separately. You will receive a link with your confirmation that takes you to a separate registration page for your accompanying family.

Methods of payment

Invoices

Choose your distribution method for invoices (email or electronic). You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. If an invoice needs to be changed after the initial invoice has been sent, an administrative fee of 300 SEK plus VAT will be added. Providing a VAT/EAN/organisation number is mandatory for invoices. It is a unique reference number that means the paying company is registered for VAT purposes with Customs and Revenue. For companies registered in Sweden, please provide your 10-digit organisation number with a hyphen. (xxxxxx-xxxx). If you are not sure of the organisation number of your paying company, you can search on the Internet for Swedish companies via this link: . Foreign participants who choose to pay by invoice will receive an invoice by email, which will include information on bank transfers. Example: If you are employed at the Department of Statistics at Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics, Umeå University, you should choose the following: Distribution method - E-invoice, Wan carrier - PEPPOL, Organization no./VAT no. - 202100-2874, Company/Association - Umeå University, Reference - 2272, Electronic address - 0007:2021002874. State your name and the university address. If you are employed at another department or another Swedish university, you need to modify the choices accordingly.

Credit card

VISA and MasterCard are accepted. You will be redirected to an external payment company, please follow the instructions.

Cancellation policy

Registrations cancelled before December 31st will be refunded. Cancellations between December 31st and January 31st can still be done, and 75% of the total fee will be refunded. Cancellations after January 31st will not be refunded. If you have more questions regarding the cancellation policy, please contact Nordic Congress.

Changes

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information during the registration process. If an invoice needs to be changed after the initial invoice has been sent, an administrative fee of 300 SEK plus VAT will apply.

GDPR

Nordic Congress handles all personal data under the GDPR Act and will only use the information you have submitted for purposes associated with this conference.

During the conference photographs and videos may be taken. It’s possible that photos and videos you appear in may be published on the conference organisers' websites, Nordic Congress website, social media, or newsletters. Please contact Nordic Congress if you do not want to be seen in any photographs or videos.
