Global investment firm has a new global data centre business with 850MW of secured capacity across Japan, the UK and Brazil.

Ada Infrastructure, the new business, is led by former Microsoft executive Jennifer Weitzel and has around 1.5GW of total future capacity.

Ada Infrastructure is expected to tap into GLP鈥檚 鈥漡lobal presence and regional expertise to help identify and secure sites in key high-demand markets鈥.

Ming Mei, co-founder and CEO of GLP, said: 鈥淒ata centres play a critical role in making the modern world run more efficiently and are where some of the world鈥檚 biggest challenges are being solved.
