Irini Kalamakis, an executive director and head of EMEA global relationship at IFM Investors, has joined OMERS Infrastructure to help drive expand the firm鈥檚 global third-party capital programme.
OMERS Infrastructure said Kalamakis has been appointed senior managing director and global head of the strategic partnerships programme.
Based in London, Kalamakis will join OMERS Infrastructure鈥檚 global management committee and report to Annesley Wallace, the global head of infrastructure.
Kalamakis joins OMERS Infrastructure from IFM Investors in London, where she was head of EMEA for the global relationship group and global head of investor relations.
Prior to joining IFM Investors in late 2017, she held senior roles at Hastings Funds Management, and was a corporate attorney at Weil, Gotshal & Manges in London and New York.
Wallace said: 鈥淲e are thrilled Irini has joined the team. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise that will allow us to further grow the third-party capital programme.鈥�
Wallace said the strategic partnership programme is an important part of the firm鈥檚 global strategy and will significantly contribute to its ambitions to double its assets under management in 5 years and 鈥渋ncrease OMERS allocation to infrastructure to 25% in that same timeframe鈥�.
