Irish property firm IPUT Real Estate has set up a platform that will convert up to 5% of its 2.4m sqft office portfolio in Dublin into flexible workspaces.

IPUT said unlike other multi-let platforms, the newly launched Making it Work platform does not feature co-working or shared workspaces and is specifically designed to cater for corporate clients within self-contained floors.

Making it Work鈥檚 first location is Pearse Street, a four-storey 15,000sqft building. Strava, a digital platform for athletes, will be IPUT鈥檚 first Making it Work customer.

Making it Work plans to develop and scale over the next few years, to up to 5% IPUT鈥檚 prime office portfolio in Dublin.

Niall Gaffney, chief executive at IPUT Real Estate, said the demand for flexible leasing options is growing globally.

鈥淪imilar to leading international real estate players operating in cities around the world, we have identified the opportunity to develop our own platform in Dublin to attract, and incubate, high-growth occupiers within our portfolio.

鈥淥ur offering combines the quality of office space for which we are known, with the flexibility that high-growth companies need. Making it Work is an exciting addition to our office portfolio and will consolidate our position as the landlord of choice in the Irish market.鈥

Simon McEvoy, Making it Work lead at IPUT Real Estate said: 鈥淪trava is the world鈥檚 leading social sports brand and to welcome them alongside The Workshop, an exciting new Irish CrossFit focused gym, as our first customers is a strong endorsement of the Making it Work model.鈥
