Ivanho茅 Cambridge has extended its partnership with Peel Logistics Property by acquiring a stake in the specialist UK logistics business.

Peel Logistics Property said the real estate subsidiary of Caisse de d茅p么t et placement du Qu茅bec (CDPQ) will now join Macquarie Capital, Peel Group and management as shareholders in Peel Logistics Property.

This transaction follows the establishment of Peel Logistics Property鈥檚 first investment venture, the Peel Logistics Property UK Logistics Venture, with Ivanho茅 Cambridge in November last year.

Arnaud Malbos, the senior vice president of investments at Ivanho茅 Cambridge Europe, said: 鈥淲e are very pleased to extend our partnership with Peel Logistics Property to a shareholding in the business. We have great ambitions for Peel Logistics Property and intend to support its growth.鈥

Jeremy Greenland, the chief executive officer at Peel Logistics Property, said: 鈥淲ith the backing of Ivanho茅 Cambridge alongside our existing shareholders, Peel Logistics Property is in a great position to deliver its business plan and continue to provide occupiers and capital partners with access to high-quality UK logistics real estate.鈥

Peel Logistics Property was established in 2015 as a joint venture between Macquarie Capital and Peel Group.

In 2016, the directors of Evander Properties, Jeremy Greenland and Neil Dickinson, became shareholders and assumed senior leadership positions within Peel Logistic Property.
