Kilter Rural has raised A$65m (鈧44.3m) for its Australian Farmlands Fund.

Kilter Rural CEO, Cullen Gunn, said there were 鈥渢ectonic shifts鈥 globally in the way capital was being deployed and that Kilter was increasingly leveraging strong institutional interest, particularly from the northern hemisphere.

He added that the interest also demonstrated institutional support for Kilter鈥檚 strategy to transit to a low carbon future.

The Australian Farmlands Fund regenerates soils and farm systems for sustainable food production, scaled biodiverse reforestation and carbon sequestration.

The fund targets a net internal rate of return of 10%-12%, with a target 50/50 split in investments between farmland and water.
