Pavilion Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek, Air Liquide Singapore and Osaka Gas Singapore have joined the Low Carbon Technology Industry Consortium in Singapore to collaborate on lower carbon opportunities like hydrogen and carbon capture.

The consortium already includes Keppel Corporation, Surbana Jurong, Singapore鈥檚 largest industrial landowner and developer, and Chevron Singapore, which established the consortium through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in 2020.

The MOU has been updated with the aim of accelerating development of 鈥渃ost-effective鈥 carbon capture, utilisation and storage technology, as well as supply chain and infrastructure surrounding hydrogen energy.

鈥淭he aim is to commercialise new lower-carbon technology pathways in Singapore to help Singapore achieve its target of net-zero emissions by 2050,鈥 said the consortium.

Under the new agreement, the consortium members will seek to partner, exchange ideas, share technical insights and development low carbon research.
