Nordic real estate manager Areim has invested an unspecified amount to acquire eight light industrial properties in V盲ster氓s in Sweden from Castellum.

Areim said the assets in the 17,000sqm portfolio are located in the H盲lla and Hacksta industrial areas.

The properties are 96% leased to a mix of tenants, Areim said, adding that it intends to increase the properties鈥 sustainability by adding features like solar panels and energy-efficient upgrades.

Over the past year, Areim has expanded its Swedish light industrial portfolio, increasing its size from approximately 210,000sqm to 256,000sqm. The portfolio now includes around 60 properties in Greater Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg and V盲ster氓s, as well as substantial unused building rights and ongoing development projects.
