SUSI Partners has acquired its first wind farm in Ireland from renewable energy projects developer ABO Wind.

The Swiss investment manager said SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II (SUSI RE II) bought the 13.2MW Cappawhite B project in Southern Ireland for an undisclosed sum.

The wind farm is currently being constructed by ABO Wind鈥檚 subsidiary ABO Wind Ireland in Milestone, North Tipperary County in the Republic of Ireland.

SUSI said commissioning is scheduled for the second quarter of 2018.

A subsidiary of ABO Wind will cover technical and commercial management of the project.

鈥淲e will continue to pursue transactions with trusted partners like ABO Wind in core markets and are looking forward to realizing further transactions in the attractive Irish market.鈥
