Developer Fabrix has received planning permission for the Bromley-by-Bow industrial park, a 135,000 ft2 of ultra-urban industrial space in LB Tower Hamlets, central London.
The 4.7 acre site has been assembled by developer Fabrix over several years for the regeneration of one of the most centrally-located, undeveloped large-scale Strategic Industrial Location sites in London.
The 鈥渟uper prime industrial鈥 design for the site, by architects Haworth Tompkins, will promote ultra-urban industrial and logistics uses. Bromley-by-Bow Industrial Park is one of just two Strategic Industrial Location sites in LB Tower Hamlets, and Fabrix鈥檚 masterplan will increase the amount of industrial floor area on the site from 65,000 ft2 to the consented 135,000 ft2.
Paul Hicks, development director at Fabrix, said: 'Fabrix has worked hard to assemble this formerly fragmented site so that we are able to deliver at the scale and quality of space that will meet the needs of advanced industrial occupiers in this prime location.'
