Asset Management鈥檚 Global Real Estate (GRE) business is partnering with a property advisory firm in Brazil.
The manager said it had seen renewed appetite among international investors for opportunities in the Brazilian property market.
It will partner Real Estate Capital (REC), a real estate consultancy managed by Moise Politi, former chief executive and co-founder of Brazilian Finance & Real Estate.
GRE will offer products across real estate debt, income-generating office and logistics investments, and opportunistic residential strategies, targeting institutional investors.
All strategies will focus primarily on Brazil鈥檚 core markets of Rio de Janeiro and S茫o Paulo.
Ulrich Koerner, president at UBS Asset Management, said: 鈥淲e continue to see a growing interest in alternative assets from institutional investors globally.

The REC team will be based in UBS鈥檚 existing office in S茫o Paulo.
