Postdoc Researcher in the Chemistry Department at Umeå University in Sweden. I am deeply passionate about exploring the intricate relationships between microbes and environmental pollutants, including both legacy and emerging contaminants. Currently, my research is focused on disentangling the metabolic pathways involved in the methylation of mercury. To achieve this, I employ a multidisciplinary approach that integrates cutting-edge microbiology and chemistry techniques.
