Ulrica Nylén is Associate Professor in Business Administration in the field of Management.
I teach on undergraduate and advanced levels within organisation, leadership and research method, and supervise theses and degree projects.
My research concerns people, teams, and organisations; particularly within the human services sector. This research has for instance dealt with professional identities and identity development. In an ongoing project, I am studying identity development of Swedish police officers on international assignments.
I have also studied teamwork, in particular regarding interprofessional teams, as well as the driving forces, obstacles and effects of collaboration across organisations and agencies.
In my research, I appreciate to cooperate with societal actors, and I have completed several projects and evaluation assignments together with external partners. An ongoing collaboration project concerns women entrepreneurship.
I am particularly interested in applying and developing qualitative research methods.
