has secured an initial 拢100m (鈧117m) commitment for a newly launched UK operating hotels strategy.

Schroders Capital UK Operating Hotels has been launched 鈥漷o cater to strong inbound investor demand鈥 following the success of , the pan-European sister fund which closed above its fundraising target at 鈧525m two years ago.

The manager entered the hotel sector back in 2018 when it acquired Algonquin, a hotels investor with 鈧1.8bn in assets under management at the time.
