Teacher Retirement System of Texas has made a $100m (鈧�84.2m) commitment alongside the $2.5bn Westbrook Partners Real Estate Fund XI fund.
The pension fund said the F65 Opportunity Longhorn Fund will co-invest on selected transactions made by Fund XI. The commitment is being placed into the opportunistic sector of the pension fund鈥檚 real estate portfolio.
As previously reported, Texas Teachers issued a $200m commitment into Fund XI in 2019.
Fund XI seeks to find investments that can produce mid-teens range net internal rate of returns as it targets office, industrial, apartments and retail properties globally.
